Eight thousand visitors in the first edition for whom the event provided a reference point for innovative, top quality and sustainable pear growing. These are to be added to the hundreds of people who took part in the initiative “La Città della pera” (the city of the pear), a series of events organised in the historic centre, focusing on the culinary promotion of the product.
One hundred exhibitors took part in FuturPera, representing all the sectors: growing, phytosanitary products, machinery and equipment, logistics and sales. The best companies in the sector who chose the event as a technical and commercial showcase, introducing new ideas and projects for pear growing with high added technological, productive and environmentally sustainable value.
Over fifty conventions, technical gatherings, seminars and meetings. A very high profile platform for the exchange of knowledge and information, also thanks to Interpera, the most important world congress dedicated to pear growing, which chose FuturPera as a location of excellence. The subjects discussed over the 3-day event include: the strategies for reaching new markets, scientific research into varietal field and the fight against pests, particularly the brown marmorated stink bug.
